Studio From was invited to work on the restoration of a listed building in Kifissia. The brief was to refurbish and restore the existing house that was built in 1906 so it can be used as the main residence of a family of four. The existing extension from the 50s will be replaced with a contemporary extension that draws inspiration from the same era with more transparency to allow for the form of the existing building to be fully visible. The building will also be extended on the southern side to create an additional snug space with views to the pool. A new satellite building that serves as a guest house will be introduced, creating some privacy to the new pool area.
