17. Fulham House

Fulham House is a contemporary wraparound ground floor, loft extension and refurbishment project to a Victorian house in west London. The brief was to maximise the square meterage of the house in order to provide a spacious home for a young family, while transforming the relationship of the house with the external spaces.

The loft extension allowed for the creation of two additional bedrooms and a new shower room, while the ground floor extension allowed for a new open plan kitchen/ dining/ living area that extends through the ground floor. A cosy patio was revived on the rear of the property, allowing the common areas to engage with the outdoors.
