Once a working barn and storage space, this building has evolved into a home that now undergoes a second transformation—its layout reinterpreted to meet modern living standards while preserving the essence of its history.

A new internal buffer zone sits between the main corridor and the bedrooms, drawing daylight and fresh air deep into the private spaces. This transitional area softens the approach to each room, improving ventilation while creating moments of pause and openness. The result is a dwelling that honours its rural past while embracing a contemporary way of life.
